Club Rides & Events Cancelled
Following the advice from UK authorities as well as updates from the World Health Organisation in relation to Covid-19, VC Venta regrets that all Club rides and events planned until 30 June 2020 have been cancelled.
The decision has been taken with the health and safety of our members and the wider community as our priority.
JOIN VC VENTA
At VC Venta we’re a friendly bunch and welcome new members seeking an active club-riding and racing scene. Our members come from Winchester and the surrounding area, and we pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere and all-inclusive policy. Membership costs just £25 for the year and is free for young riders under 18 years.

APRIL STRAVA SEGMENT RESULTS & OVERALL GC POSITIONS
Happily, April’s weather was markedly improved compared to the start of 2020. Perhaps also helped by the Lockdown, this month saw a bumper number of attempts on our SoTM challenge.
MAY SEGMENT OF THE MONTH
May’s segment is a Puncheur’s delight, relatively short in length with rolling terrain and a couple of steep kicks to keep you honest and (probably) out of the saddle. Expect to be pushing hard for the entire segment if you want to feature at the top end of the leader-board.
APRIL SEGMENT OF THE MONTH
This month’s segment is one for the Sprinters. A sub 1-minute effort that will challenge you to (safely) push the limits of your power. Outright Watts will come into play more that Watts / Kg would do on a climb, so make sure your legs are fresh for this effort.
