Time Trial Race Team
VC Venta promotes a friendly and active time-trial scene, with riders of all levels taking part over the season.
At the more competitive end of the spectrum, we have riders competing around the country. In 2018, our men’s Team Time Trial squad placed 5th at the National Championships in Newcastle and in 2022 Nick Tarmey won the National 24 hour time trial title clocking up a remarkable 516.56 miles in 24 hours. Alex Murphy brought home another National Champions jersey in 2024 winning the Junior Closed Circuit Championship.
Time trialling is the perfect way to get into cycle racing, no matter what level of fitness you have.

Summer 2025 Time Trials
We are currently planning our events programme for 2025 including hopefully the Watercress time trial in April, a club time trial series and the annual inter-club time trial against our near neighbours Sotonia.
